We’ve said a lot about Huawei Mate 9. It’s Leica dual-camera is amazing, the battery is fascinating and can last two days with normal usage and the design is slick. But when the device was revealed in Germany back in November, another phone actually caught the eye – Porsche Design Huawei Mate 9.

This is the first partnership between the design company and Huawei and now you can preorder the product of their collaboration for ‘only’ €1395.

There’s a lot in common between the regular Mate 9 and the designer’s one. The chipset is an octa-core Kirin 960, the battery is 4000 mAh in both devices and the camera is dual-sensor Leica (12MP RGB + 20 MP Monochrome).

The differences are that the Porsche Design Mate 9 has 6GB RAM and 256 GB internal memory and comes with a 5.5” dual-curved QHD display. The regular handset stretches to 5.9” but only offers 1080p resolution on its flat screen.
