A “full-scale emergency exercise” is set to take place at the University at Buffalo on Wednesday.
The drill will take place from 7 a.m. until 12:30 p.m. in and around Hadley Village at the school’s north campus.
UB’s Emergency Management department will work with other local agencies on how to respond to an active shooter situation on campus.
A large amount of fire, emergency and law enforcement officials will be present at the campus.
While the exercise is happening, the Cooke A and B parking lots and Hadley Village parking lots will be unavailable.
Also, Hadley Rd. will not be accessible between Rensch and Augspurger roads.
