Photographer Michael O’Neill made his name with iconic portraits of American presidents, star athletes and celebrities.

But when spinal surgery left him partially paralysed, and unable to photograph, he turned to the quiet of yoga and meditation for recovery.

His new book, On Yoga: The Architecture of Peace, as well as a major exhibition at TASCHEN Gallery in Los Angeles brings together over a decade of photography dedicated to Yoga and its greatest practitioners around the world.
