Two Tifton men were arrested and charged with drug trafficking by the Tift County Sheriff’s Office on Dec. 18, according to information from the Tift County Sheriff’s Office..
Benjamin Chandler Keene, 23, and Logan Ellerman Wale, 20, both of Tifton, were arrested at 9:30 a.m. at a house in the 400 block of Bowen Marchant Road.
Keene was charged with possession of a firearm or knife during the commission of or attempt to commit certain crimes, receipt, possession or transport of a firearm by convicted felon or felony first attempt, sale, distribution or possession of dangerous drugs, trafficking in cocaine, illegal drugs, marijuana or methamphetamine, misdemeanor willful obstruction of law enforcement officers and parole violation.
Wale was charged with sale, distribution or possession of dangerous drugs and trafficking in cocaine, illegal drugs, marijuana or methamphetamine.
